There are a few important things you should be aware of when shipping your vehicle to Australia and our helpful and experienced vehicle transportation team will be happy to discuss these with you when you call to arrange a no-obligation quote. A few things to remember however are:

You will only be permitted by Australian law to import one vehicle per person, and you need to be able to prove that it has been owned and used by you for 12 months prior to shipping and that it has not been out of the country for any longer than 42 days in those 12 months.

If your vehicle is one that has CFC gas then it will need to be decommissioned and degassed and a certificate supplied to prove this. If you cannot meet these requirements then you will have to ensure that it is done before your vehicle can be released from the Australian port. Any vehicle manufactured after 1998 will be assumed automatically to have HFC. Vehicles manufactured prior to 1998 will have to have evidence of which gas is currently in use.
